Op 18 juni 2026 organiseert het DIA in het kader van zijn 30-jarig bestaan het Falling Walls Lab Amsterdam.
Studenten en young professionals krijgen tijdens deze Science Slam de kans hun innovatieve en baanbrekende idee of onderzoek in 3 minuten voor een professionele jury te pitchen. De centrale vraag is:
Waar gaan – in navolging van de val van de Berlijnse muur – in de nabije toekomst muren vallen en doorbraken plaatsvinden?
De winnaar reist in november af naar de Falling Walls Global Finale in Berlijn. De jury wordt binnenkort bekend gemaakt.

On 18 June 2026, the DIA will host the Falling Walls Lab Amsterdam as part of its 30th anniversary.
During this Science Slam, students and young professionals will have the opportunity to pitch their innovative and groundbreaking idea or research in 3 minutes to a professional jury. The central question is:
Following the fall of the Berlin Wall, where will walls come down and breakthroughs occur in the near future?
The winner will travel to Berlin in November for the Falling Walls Global Finale. The jury will be announced shortly.
